LSEC is constantly trying to support you in your own efforts to create awareness in your own company on Information Security. Infosecurity 2012 - March 28 - 29th, Heizel - Brussels



Thanks for visiting us at the Infosecurity 2012 tradeshow in Brussels. The traditional yearly gathering of ICT professionals and information security experts at the Heizel. This year over 5000 attendees visited the exhibition and the Infosecurity seminars during these two days. LSEC will be publishing its "2011 information security report", as well as a "baseline information security for Belgian companies" together with partners. Europe's top security organizations join forces

Four major security clusters in Europe launch the Security Innovation Network SIGNATURE to increase the competitiveness of enterprises and organisations in North-Western Europe. SIGNATURE's members are SITC (UK), SYSTEM@TIC Paris Region (France), LSEC (Belgium), nGage (UK) and TeleTrusT (Germany). Jointly, these clusters gather over 1,000 companies from all over the world – including Thales, SAGEM, Zetes, Vasco, McAfee, Sophos, Unisys and Dimension Data – with an enormous expertise in security. They are accompanied by a number of innovative start-up's, top researchers and academic experts. The project is supported through the European Regional Development Fund.

Infosecurity Flyers to use and distribute

LSEC created some basic awareness flyers for people and companies to use for their internal awareness activities. Both in Dutch and French, they provide some basic guidance and information on some important security challenges. LSEC provides a single point of entry to a geographic concentration of world-class e-security expertise and e-security professionals in Europe. This website is merely a flavor of a tool that is being completed and extended , with information, interacitivity and actions. LSEC members have been carefully selected for being experts in their respectives domains of Information Security expertise. This portal can be your starting point to find information related to specific Information Security matters, and relates back to the experts and information. LSEC is constantly organizing events and sessions on a variety of Themes, made up of expertises. So do take a look at What's Happening, to find out more on all of our activities.

Formed in January 2002, LSEC is an independent not-for-profit network organisation uniting a variety of experts of IT security : users (Security Officers, IT Managers and other security professionals), hardware and software vendors, service and knowledge providers, advisors, research institutions and governmental organisations.
